After winning the German Championship in May 2021 the Eisbaeren Berlin are the league's record champion with eight titles. The core of the championship roster is returning for the new season adding a few players such as Morgan Ellis, Nicholas B. Jensen, Kevin Clark and Yannick Veilleux.
This year's goal for the team of headcoach Serge Aubin is without a doubt defending the championship in front of a home crowd at Uber Arena.
