Lionel Richie live at Uber Arena

Lionel Richie is set to play at the o2 World in Berlin on Tuesday 17 February 2015 as part of his his “All Hits, all Night Long”-Tour 2015. Tickets for his concert will be available from Friday 26 September on our website. 

Lionel Richie was born in Alabama and spent most of his childhood growing up on the campus of Tuskegee University. During his high school years he developed a passion for tennis. Due to his talent he received a scholarship at Tuskegee University and during this time, he first came in touch with his second passion: music. 

In 1968 he formed his first band The Commodores where he was not only the lead singer but also saxophonist and songwriter. The Commodores quickly became one of the most successful R’n’B bands in the 70’s. Hits like “Easy” and “Three Times a Lady” were all written by Richie himself. 

After The Commodores split up, Richie started his career as a solo artist. His breakthrough followed in 1982 with his first number one hit single "Endless Love". Be prepared for all of Lionel Richie's greatest hits on 17 February 2015 at the o2 World Berlin.
