MTV Europe Music Awards live at Uber Arena
1994 wurden die MTV Europe Music Awards zum ersten Mal verliehen. Am 5. November 2009 kehren die Awards nun in die Hauptstadt zurück, um das 20jährige Jubiläum des Falls der Berliner Mauer zu feiern.
Mit Robbie Williams, Jay-Z, Green Day, Leona Lewis, Tokio Hotel, Shakira und den US Rock Legenden Foo Fighters haben sich internationale Topstars für einen Live-Auftritt bei der Awardshow angekündigt. Übergeben werden die begehrten Trophäen unter anderem von den Schauspielern Jean Reno, Monica Belucci und Juliette Lewis sowie von der amerikanischen Band die Backstreet Boys. Die Show wird moderiert von Katy Perry.
