Volbeat live at Uber Arena
Am 6. November kommen Volbeat im Rahmen ihrer "Welcome To The 'Elvis Rock'" live in die O2 World Berlin.
Volbeat kann man sicherlich als Senkrechtstarter bezeichnen, dabei ist diese dänische Band schon lange am Werke. Der Sänger Michael Schøn Poulsen hat sich vor 12 Jahren dem Death Metal abgewandt und im Oktober 2001 Volbeat gegründet. Ein Jahr später das erste Demo und 2005 dann das erste Album „The Strength /The Sound /The Songs". Seitdem ist viel passiert: Platinauszeichnungen und Musikpreise heimsen sie ein und haben auch berühmte Fans wie Lemmy, Social Distortion, Hank III, Dave Mustaine und auch Metallica, die die Dänen 2009 mit auf Tournee nahmen. Nun ist mit „Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies" das fünfte Studio‐Album fertig.
Bei Volbeat ist alles dabei - Rockabilly, Melodien, ultra-heavy Passagen, Western-Elemente und Rocksongs.
