In the summer of 2019, it was announced that FIBA EuroBasket 2021 will come to Germany in major parts. Due to the Covid19 pandemic, the event was postponed to 2022. However, it remains the case that one of four preliminary rounds will be carried out in Cologne and the complete final round will finally take place at the Uber Arena. The national teams will travel to the Czech Republic, Georgia and Italy for the remaining three preliminary rounds.
Basketball fans can look forward to thrilling games when the German national team meets top European opponents. It's best to mark the time period between 10.09. and 18.09.2022 in your calendar.
